Happy adoption stories
Many of our adopters, volunteers, donors and friends send us stories and photos of the animals who give them so much joy. We dedicate this space to all of you whose lives have been changed by animals.

Frankie
I knew as soon as I met this cat that he was meant to be my forever mate. I walked into the Palmerston North Centre intending to get a kitten, and instead the only cat that came anywhere near me was Frank. He smooched my legs and kept following me. I went home and the next day I went back asking to adopt him. Best decision I have ever made. He is my shadow and follows me everywhere, always sleeps on my legs, even comes into the bathroom with me! He has a lot of character, and loves to play hide and seek and race me in the paddocks.
Myself and Frank travelled back up to Northland together to live. We are inseparable and we live a beautiful life on a rural farm with loads of flowers and green grass. I have almost had him for two years now, couldn't imagine my life without him.
