Adoption/Admin Volunteer
Hamilton Centre
This role assists our Customer Services team with the day to day running’s of the Centre and Adoptions they do, they also help out the Foster and Volunteer Team with some admin tasks.
These volunteers can help with a range of things including:
- Greeting customers coming in the door
- Explaining the adoption process to potential adoptees
- Showing members of the public through the adoption units
- Collecting animals from the adoption units
- Putting together adoption packs
- Taking and sorting donations

Tidying the retail space and storeroom

Other admin tasks the Customer Services or Foster and Volunteer Team may need help with.
Requirements:
Some customer services/customer facing experience is necessary. Customer Services Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and must complete a Criminal Convictions History form to be sent to the Ministry of Justice.
Available shifts:
Shifts available are Saturday mid morning - afternoon.

Please note: Our centres and op shops have minimum age requirements to volunteer. For op shops the minimum age is 15 years. For volunteering at a centre, please enquire with them directly if you are under 16 years of age. You may need to provide an up-to-date Ministry of Justice check prior to starting. Please be aware that during the application process we will ask about any medical conditions (physical or mental) we need to be aware of to ensure your safety while volunteering for us.
