SPCA’s ‘Pets of the Year’ calendar competition is back!

12 June 2024

SPCA is calling on cat and dog owners to dust off their cameras and enter their favourite photo of their feline friend or canine companion for the chance to become the cover star of our 2025 calendar – along with the title of SPCA Pet of the Year!

SPCA’s ‘Pets of the Year’ calendar competition is back!

SPCA Pets of the Year calendars are available for pre-order now!

SPCA Pets of the Year is back once again, giving cat and dog owners the chance to show off their furry friends, all while raising vital funds to help us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome thousands of animals every year.

With two different calendar categories, cats and dogs, pet owners can participate by entering their favourite photo of their loveable companion and creating a profile, showcasing their unique charm. Once their profile is live, it’s time to share your pet's profile with family and friends to spread the word and get fundraising to secure your pawsome pet that top spot in the 2025 calendar! Your fundraising efforts will directly help animals in need across the country.

Every entrant that raises $150 before the closing date is guaranteed a spot in the calendar. But strive for the top spot in either category to win the calendar cover shot, and the title of Pet of the Year!

There are also some incredible prizes up for grabs from OPPO, our amazing sponsor. Make sure you enter the competition for the chance to win some cutting-edge tech!

How to get involved:

  1. Head over to SPCA’s Pets of the Year website
  2. Choose your favourite photo of your cat or dog, and create a profile that captures their essence!
  3. Share their profile with family, friends, and colleagues, and let the fundraising begin.
Every dollar raised goes directly towards supporting SPCA’s services, including animal rescues, veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, and adoptions.

Don’t have a pet of your own to enter? You can still get involved by sharing profiles, and voting for your favourite.

Together, let’s celebrate the extraordinary bonds we share with our beloved pets. We can’t wait to see your entries!
