Happy adoption stories
Many of our adopters, volunteers, donors and friends send us stories and photos of the animals who give them so much joy. We dedicate this space to all of you whose lives have been changed by animals.

Maggie
I adopted Maggie in May 2023, and she's turned out to be the sweetest old cat. She's very loving – a proper lap cat, she loves being around you 24/7.
She has a small enclosed garden she loves to go out in and lay in the sun. She loves her treats, pats, cuddles, and my lap, and just loves retirement in general!
She's such a sweet old girl. I've taught her a few hand commands, as she's now almost deaf as a door post – but nothing stops her!
Thanks again for helping her through the process, and for finding her forever home with me.
