Many dogs find their forever homes in latest SPCA adoption drive
115 dogs and puppies have gone on to their loving forever homes during SPCA’s adoption campaign, which saw 25% off all canine adoption fees.
Our teams around the country are thrilled to have seen so many deserving dogs and puppies leave the shelter and find their forever homes over the past two weeks.
Many households put their hands up during SPCA’s ‘Be Their Family’ campaign, taking advantage of the reduced adoption fees and bringing home their new family members.
“We’re beyond pleased with the result of the campaign,” says Corey Regnerus-Kell, SPCA’s General Manager of Animal Services. “By reducing the adoption fees, we’ve seen many people who were on the fence about adopting decide to take the leap.
“All of our dogs are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and health-checked before they go on to their new homes, so we’re sure they’ll have the best start in their new homes. And for this campaign only, our friends at Zoetis threw in some Simparica Trio parasite treatment and vouchers with every adoption.”
A total of 65 dogs and 50 puppies were adopted over the campaign period, freeing up much-needed space for more incoming animals.
