Purina helps New Zealanders double their impact for the animals
This October, animal lovers can see their generosity go twice as far thanks to Purina. The team at Purina will be matching donations made to SPCA up to the value of $25,000* in a collective call to action to help vulnerable animals around the country.
Purina has long been one of SPCA’s most avid sponsors, donating their Purina ONE pet food to feed the cats and dogs of SPCA. Now, they are taking their support even further and asking the New Zealand public to join them.
Through October, the Purina team is promising to match donations made to SPCA up to a value of $25,000* in a bid to help even more animals in need, as number pouring into SPCA Centres continues to rise. T&Cs apply.
New Zealanders are asked to make a quick and easy donation to SPCA in one of two ways:
- Text ‘NEED’ to 3181 to donate $3 to help animals in need
- Make a donation of any size online at the appeal web page
“We are so grateful to Purina for yet another show of support, and one which encourages New Zealanders to be part of the effort in such an easy way. Caring for the abandoned, abused and neglected animals in our communities has always been a team effort, and this is just a reminder of that.”
Donations to the value of $25,000 will be matched* until the end of October. Funds raised will go directly into SPCA’s lifesaving work for animals, whether performing surgeries, desexing animals, or covering the costs of their care while they wait for adoption.
