Taupo Centre
Making a difference in Taupo
Volunteer with usSPCA's Taupo Centre at Centennial Drive was opened in 2010 and takes care of animals in need throughout the Taupo district 365 days a year. Our staff work hard to ensure animals are given a second chance at the life they deserve, in forever homes.
We also run the Snip and Chip cat desexing campaigns in our community regularly, and sell items such as Purina pet food. cat and kitten adoption packs, toys, leads and collars at our Front of House store.
SPCA has an Op Shop in the Taupo township which is run almost entirely by wonderful volunteers. The Op Shop generates vital funds to finance support for vulnerable animals in our community and beyond.
