Donate to desex, and stop suffering before it starts

Every day, SPCA sees the harsh reality which results from a lack of desexing. Unwanted litters dumped on our doorstep or found in bushes. An emaciated mother trying to fend for herself and her newborn puppies on the streets. Hordes of cats and kittens, their numbers out of control, battling illness and severely suffering at an abandoned property.

All of these situations can be prevented. Desexing is the most powerful tool we have to tackle the overpopulation of unwanted companion animals in New Zealand head on. We can stop suffering before it ever had a chance to take place, and secure a better future for New Zealand's animals... but we can't do it alone.
