Hamlet

This is sadly something we see far too often at SPCA, but it meant Hamlet was able to find his dream home. Hamlet’s new parents adopted him in July after spotting him on SPCA’s Facebook page. He now spends his days having exciting adventures and is a much-loved member of his new family. “Our house felt very empty after we said goodbye to our 17-yearold dog last year, so Hamlet has made it feel lively again,” his new mum says. “He walks with me twice a day, and on the weekends we go for long beach walks. Hamlet loves squeaky toys, sitting on his rug by the fire, and adventures, especially when he meets new friends! Our 18-year-old cat isn’t too sure about her new brother, but they can be spotted snuggling together on cold nights.”
