Making a difference in Hokitika
Volunteer with usSPCA's Hokitika Centre works with the Westland community to improve the lives of all animals in the region.
In February 2019 we were able to open a brand new, purpose-built Centre, thanks to the support of our wonderful community. Now, in 2025, we're reopening our doors.
We also have a thriving op shop on the main street of Hokitika to support the work we do.

In-kind donations
If you would like to donate goods for our op shops or the animals at the centre, they can be dropped off to our centre during opening hours.
