SPCA Op Shops
When you donate to or shop at SPCA Op Shops, not only are you shopping sustainably by buying secondhand, but every dollar you spend helps animals in need.
With over 85 op shops located throughout New Zealand, we sell a wide range of donated items, including womens, mens and kids clothing, jewellery, homeware, kitchenware, linen, toys, furniture and things for your pets. There is always something new to discover.
Or, if you prefer a more virtual shopping experience, browse our official SPCA Online Op Shop, stocked with a wide variety of pre-loved items delivered straight to your doorstep.
How you can make a difference
We're always looking for dedicated people, who would like to volunteer in our op shops.
Volunteering includes helping out with the day-to-day operations, from sorting, pricing, merchandising displays, selling at the till. Or reliable drivers helping out with routine pick up and drop off of furniture or larger items.
If you have any spare time each week, 15 years or older and would like to help a good cause - we’d love to hear from you!
You can help us raise much needed funds for the animals by donating items we can re-sell.
We are incredibility grateful for all donations in good, sellable condition; please no rips, stains, marks, broken or missing pieces. Let your old items become someone's new favourite, simply head to your local shop during opening hours.
Furniture items can be picked up for free within Auckland 0800 77 22 23 or Christchurch 0800 77 22 26, find out more here.
Each purchase you make is an important contribution to SPCA’s work.
When you shop with us, the funds raised in our shops contribute towards helping animals in need! Plus, you will do your bit for our planet by reducing the amount of goods that go into landfill - you never know what goodies you will find along the way. Feel good while you shop!
