Ashburton Centre
Making a difference in Ashburton
Volunteer with usSPCA's Ashburton Centre opened the doors at our new location on Seafield Road in December 2020. The centre primarily houses felines, with other animals being transferred to the Christchurch centre.
Currently we have one full time staff member - our Team Leader, Foster and Volunteer Coordinator, as well as a part time Senior Animal Attendant, and part time Animal Attendant, who look after all our animals.
Our centre covers from the Rakaia River to the Rangitata, with Inspectorate cover coming from Christchurch.
